Dragonfly Nouveau - employing a multitude of traditional metalsmithing techniques with the signature use of chainmail patterns, this necklace comes alive. Using fine silver, Argentium and sterling to showcase an array of textures, colors and dimension and includes lab-grown, bezel set 10mm rubies, cultured, freshwater pearls, and five (5) lab-grown, beautifully green-to-purple color changing alexandrite stones positioned alongside amethysts to create the effect of a dragonfly's natural iridescence.
Swallowtail - A high-fashion concept inspired by the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterfly. This complex, mixed-metal design uses 14K yellow gold to accent the assorted gemstones. The arrangement of yellow and golden citrines, Swiss and London Blue topaz, sapphires and padparadscha gemstones express the natural pattern and hues found in the wings of its namesake,. A set of hand cut & formed, blackened, sterling silver plates are woven in using anodized blue titanium alongside 14K gold, blackened silver and titanium byzantine chain details to tie the centerpiece together. Additional 14K & Argentium® flourished end pieces pull everything into place and finished with an antiqued gradient into polished byzantine pattern and closed with an ornate, hand-fabricated toggle clasp of 14K gold.
Long Stem Rose - This Argentium® silver necklace is inspired by the shapes and colors of the flower and expresses the asymmetry in a way that still draws the eyes to the focal point in the center: an 18 ct cluster of luxuriously brilliant lab grown rubies. Accented with similarly stunning lab grown emeralds and natural peridot to create the "stem" as a finishing touch.
Wayfarer - This 14K gold necklace features a meticulously hand-woven mesh of almost 2000 individual rings that drapes and feels like a luxurious fabric. Complemented by a thin byzantine pattern and finished with a hand-fabricated toggle clasp, this is JQ's first foray into solid gold.
